Why there should be an ‘extra motivation’ for spectators to come out in droves to watch the prestigious 39th Surjit Hockey Tournament at the Olympian Surjit Singh Astroturf Hockey Stadium in Jallandhar from October 27 to November 4? Well, it’s not just because the organisers have made Stadium entry free for the spectators! But because Surjit Hockey Society – the organisers of the 39th Surjit Hockey Tournament have gone one step forward to ensure spectators are adequately motivated to watch the matches of the nine-day tournament, which is considered one of the biggest domestic tourneys in the country (in terms of prize money and stature).
