Mark Hager’s Win-Loss Record as Australia Men’s Team Coach
Mark Hager took over from Colin Batch as the Australian men’s team chief coach after the 2024 Paris Olympics. Hager, who is Australia’s second highest all-time goal scorer (171 goals) after Jamie Dwyer (243 goals) brings considerable international hockey coaching experience – the former Kookaburras captain, who made 231 international appearances coached New Zealand eves to glory at the 2018 Commonwealth Games as well as guiding Great Britain to a bronze medal finish at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.
Hager made his coaching debut with the Kookaburras at the Sydney leg of the 2024-25 Pro League and subsequently the 60-year-old former Aussie stalwart was at the helm for the Santiago Del Estero leg as well.
