When Bengal Tigers’ Sukhjeet Singh Nailed the Fastest Goal of 6th Men’s HIL

Shrachi Rarh Bengal Tigers have looked the most consistent team in the 6th Men’s Hockey India League with an all-win record so far. While maintaining their winning streak, the Tigers also created a new statistical milestone when their ace forward Sukhjeet Singh scored the fastest goal of the league.

The highly talented Punjab National Bank and Indian striker made the most of a brilliant fed by former international Affan Yousuf, who orchestrated from near the centre of the pitch against Delhi SG Pipers. The goal came within 23 seconds of play getting underway.

Among other fastest goals in the league, UP Rudras’ Sudeep Chirmako scored in the 2nd minute against Soorma Hockey Club – Team Gonasika’s SV Sunil also scored in the 2nd minute against Hyderabad Toofans. Delhi SG Pipers’ Tomas Domene scored in the 5th minute vs Team Gonasika in the league opener.
