Stats Talk: Alyson Annan’s Win-Loss Record as China Eves Coach

Alyson Annan took charge of the China women’s team in mid-2022 at the fag end of the 2021-2022 Pro League in a game against Germany which they won 3-0. The former Aussie stalwart, who was instrumental in Australia winning the 1996 Olympics gold medal at Atlanta, played her part in China finishing 5th at the 2023-24 Pro League, ahead of sides like Australia and Great Britain. She has transformed the Chinese women side that culminated in a historic runners-up finish at the 2024 Paris Olympics. China has climbed to 6th in world rankings under the 51-year-old four-time FIH Coach of the Year.
